Cannot install Intel Graphics driver 27.20.100.8187 properly. Losing audio and Intel® Driver & Support Assistant keeps saying I've to update to 8187

version 26.20.100.8141 works OK.

Intel® Driver & Support Assistant fails to update on:

I Have a black screen after update the driver, if i try restart my notebook, the installation program opens again.

I did it. Downloaded 8187 driver, installed, and ran SSU, it gathered all info and after submit it, it failed when redirected to browser to this url https://servicerequestmgmt.intel.com/webticketui/

so now how do I send this to intel.com?

The ssu does what it is supposed to do. No update is needed: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility

The IDSA is updated all the time.

Download and run the uninstaller: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29376/Intel-Driver-Support-Assistant-Uninstaller?v=t

reboot

Download and run the current version of IDSA: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html

Reboot

And, you need to understand that IDSA is not for your system, although you may be able to use it.

Now I know the steps:

Run IDSA uninstaller
Reboot
Install "updated" IDSA app.
Reboot
Download new Graphic driver
Install it
Reboot
Done!

I think it'll be easier if Intel could auto update this IDSA app, or run some background job while installing to detect any issues and recommend this steps.

IDSA does update in the background. However, in versions past, things got confused, which is why the uninstaller was created. You should be ok now.
