Black bars do not work with certain resolutions in certain games even though the games support it (examples csgo, stepmania). It doesn't work with 800x600 or 640x480 but works just fine with 720x576, 1400x1050. I tried reinstalling the drivers, changing to intel integrated gpu to render the game instead of nvidia's optimus one and I also tried changing every aspect ratio setting in intel graphics settings but nothing works. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Desktop works fine with black bars and I have an external monitor connected with hdmi.

Fixed.

Deleted the resolutions that didn't work with a program called CRU and added them back and it worked.
