Custom resolutions on HD Graphics 520 vs. HD Graphics 620

HP laptop with HD Graphics 520 on dock. 2 x AOC 32" U3277PWQU. Possible to set a custom resolution of 2880x1620 @ 29hz in the HD Graphics Control app. HP laptop with HD Graphics 620 on same dock. No possible custom settings. Are there any workarounds to get the same resulotion?

Both have the option of 3840 x 2160 @ 60hz

Are you using driver packages downloaded from the HP site? For laptops, you shouldn't be using the generic version from the Intel site. It is also possible that this is a limitation imposed by HP's BIOS.
