Hey supporter,

I don't know if I'm right with that problem here but I don't know where to go.. Fact is that I can't get Vulkan to work on my device..

Am I just too silly and I'm annoying with that report... ? I don't know but I give it a try 😉

First. System specifications:

System Used: Microsoft Surface 4

CPU: Intel Core i7 - 6650U 2.2 GHz

GPU: Intel Iris Graphics 540

DRIVER VERSION: 20.19.15.4409 (recent driver : updated)

OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows10 64 Bit

The problem:

As I like to compile code I get instantly following error:

Could not create Vulkan instance:

ERROR_OUT_OF_HOST_MEMORY

If I like to run a installed programm using Vulkan this shows up:

Could not find Vulkan components...

So, is the updated driver not the driver I was looking for?

Network didn't help me out so far.

Thanks for support in advance!

Hi Johannes,

Hi Johannes,

Vulkan support is only available in a beta driver:

https://software.intel.com/en-us/blogs/2016/06/29/new-intel-graphics-test-driverdriver-for-windows-10-and-windows-781-15404473

Support is not included in any certified driver yet. In order to get Vulkan support you need to use the beta driver. However using a non certified driver on your Surface Pro 4 may be problematic.
