so, i want to add a custom resolution on my laptop, and i can create it, but i doesnt show up on the resolution thing. i want to add this custom resolution really badly. i am trying for A MONTH to add this, and i cant. it doesnt show up. i am on my laptop, my built in dispay is broken, and i hooked up my laptop on my tv, with a hdmi cable. when i am in settings , it shows 'select a display', and it's the built in one, and my tv. i choose my tv, i add the resolution, and it doesnt show up. what can i do? oh yeah, i have the newest drivers on this laptop. thanks!
