intel graphics driver has stopped working and recovered intel 2000

so i get this message every time i play a game or use my desktop

for example when i play some game it makes the game freeze then it unfreezes but the screen is still frozen and i can hear the sounds of the game in the background

and with the desktop it freezes then unfreezes after showing the error

i tried installing the latest drivers didn't work

i tried uninstalling them didn't work i tried all the versions that were available for my graphics card

i tried using the windows update also didn't work

is there any way i can fix this?

If you are running Windows 10, there are no latest drivers. There is only the Microsoft generic driver, which lacks performance and features. This also means that your processor and graphics are not supported.

If you are a laptop, there is nothing you can do.

if you are a desktop, you might get lucky and find a compatible add-on card.

im using windows 8.1

and yes im using a desktop

Yiou are no better off with W8.1.

Since you have a desktop, you may want to explore getting an nvidia (or amd if you have no other choice) compatible graphics card for your desktop.

thanks for the answer i plan on one day changing it but for now im stuck with it
