I have bought recently a KVM switch degined to connect 4 USB devices to 4 computers and switch between them. If the KVM had the keyboard and mouse connected to it and it is currently supporting PC 1, then, regardless of the other monitors connected to PC 2, PC 2 will not be able to do anything via its other monitors -- unless a separate keyboard and mouse is connected to PC 2.
