Hi.

I sold my old 1080ti and now using iGPU - UHD630.

I cannot set the screen frequency higher than 50 Hz. Valid values in the drop-down list: 23,24,25,29,30,50 Hz (Resolution is 3440x1440)

My monitor: LG 34GK950B-F, native resolution is 3440x1440@144Hz, connected to motherboard by new hdmi 2.0 cable.

Model of my motherboard is Gigabyte Aorus Master Z490. It has hdmi 1.4. According to specifications maximum resolution is 3840x2160@60Hz.

I was hoping I could pick at least 3440*1440@60Hz. I am using the latest Intel videodriver - 27.20.100.8783

Could someone tell me where to get a complete table of video modes with frequencies for UHD630?

Why is such a low frequency available?

I would be grateful for any help.

Re: Intel UHD 630 maximum display refresh rate

According to the Intel specifications (Table 2-21, Page 42 of the 7th Generation Intel® Processor Families for H Platforms Datasheet, Vol 1), the best you can do with your processor's HDMI 1.4 interface is 4096x2160 at 30Hz. By my calculation, based upon the information in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI, this should allow your 3440x1440 monitor to run at 53Hz. Rounding down, this is why it is only offering you a 50Hz maximum rate.

Ok, this is all based upon a native 4:4:4 interface. According to this same Wikipedia page, configuring for 4:2:0 should allow you to accomplish what you would like - if you can figure out how to configure for 4:2:0. From what I can see, there doesn't seem to be a way to accomplish this with the current capabilities of the Intel Graphics Control Center app. If someone else has figured out how to do this, please chime in.

...S

P.S. I should add that, if your motherboard has a DisplayPort output, DisplayPort 1.2 can support 4096x2160 at 60Hz and thus can support your monitor's resolution at 107Hz. Rounding down to next setting, this should allow you to run at 75Hz.
