topic Control panel issues with external monitor in Graphics

So recently I messed up when I was connecting an external monitor to my laptop. In the intel graphic control panel I accidentally set my external monitor as sub display and disabled my laptop display. So now whenever I plugged in my external monitor, there will only be display on my external monitor meanwhile my laptop remains black screen. The problem is I cant toggle it back since the control panel and the window settings can only be opened at the main display. Yet my external monitor is set to sub display which becomes really awkward for me. I am desperate for a solution to this issue and I would really appreciate assistance for my mistake. Thank you.

1.Right-click the Windows desktop and select Display Settings from the drop-down list. If two monitors are not displayed normally, click Detect.

or

2. Click on Fn + F5 keys on keyboard.
