The GPA cannot display the render target

Hello,

I'm using GPA 2016 R4(16.4.1168.0) to analyze my game base on DX9. However, the Frame Analyzer cannot display the render target. I have rollback the GPA 2016 R3, it also has the same problem. Here is my develop environment:

Sorry that you are running into trouble. Thanks for providing your setup information.

I have a few suggestions that may help you:

1. Are you able to upgrade to the Win 10 anniversary update (14393)? I ask since GPA only supports that version of Win 10 at this moment.

2. Both your gfx card drivers look to be out of date, are you able to update to the latest versions?

3. Are you able to update your BIOS version? This may help, it is a bit of a long shot, but not worth over-looking.

If those doesn't help, is it possible to get a copy of the workload you are working with so we can attempt to replicate your issue on our side?

I have upgraded win10 and gfx card deriver to the new version. Because of the risk, I did not update the bios version. It doesn't work. The new about info is as bellow:

I'm confused about the item "No support for GPA Instrumentation". Does it mean that the GPA can not work correctly in my environment?

I believe I have narrowed your issue down to 3rd party hardware since I get the same results on my PC with similar specs to yours. Testing on machines with just an Intel based GPU, I can see the RTs as expected. I passed the issue on to our engineers to see if they agree.

Are you able to try opening this frame on a machine with only 1 Intel based GPU? I had luck with both a Skylake or Kabylake system.

As for the issue itself - How impactful is this for you? Is it something you cannot work around?
