Malcolm - I don't know why I had an issue with TouchDesigner before.

I reproduced your issue with our GUI tools, just as you'd said. So then I tried capturing a stream with our cli, GPA Framework (same download page, separate download) so I could figure out if the issue is a capture issue.

I captured a stream and can open the frames, but the behavior is wonky. Also, oddly, the stream only captured the splash screen. Is the splash screen Graphics API different from the Graphics API used for the rest of the app?

Note: GPA should not cause your application to crash - from our side, GPA should be non-intrusive, from your side, there should probably be fault tolerance.

I will pass this on to our Vulkan expert so that he can debug GPA with your application.

Pamela

Hey, if you download the Vulkan version of TouchDesigner from here:

https://download.derivative.ca/TouchDesigner.2022.31030.exe

Install, and then try to launch under any mode (Trace etc), it'll crash on startup inside of the a present() call, deep inside of the various .dlls and layers that GPA uses.

Any chance this could be looked at? Would like to use this tool for Intel GPUs.

Thanks

Malcolm
