A few question about IPP 5.2

-Any firm release date yet?
- Will IPP 5.2 dispatch properly optimized code on AMD processor?
- Will the dynamic lib (dylib) threaded internally on Mac OSX?

Hello,

there is no firm date for IPP 5.2 release. Preliminary plan is Q2 2007.

The latest release, IPP 5.1, already dispatch optimized code on non-Intel processors (if appropriate feature, MMX, SSE is supported).

Acually, internal threading work in IPP 5.1 release on MAC OS X, but there was an issue, to workaround you need to call ippSetNumThreads functions with desirable number of threads in the beginning of your application. This issue will be fixed in IPP 5.2 release.
