hi everyone,

IPP CancelEcho function blockcan cancel acoustic echo. ButI wonder ifitcanalso cancel hybrid echo.Does itcancel hybrid echo? Thank you!

Hi Jason,

The appearance of acoustic and hybrid echo is the same but the hybrid (line) echo should demonstrate more stable characteristics(no echo path change,...thus making easie to remove). The IPP AEC is complient with g.168,..., It should.

regards,

Hi Jason,

IPP AECis designedto be able to cancel any linear echo path up to 200 ms.A hybrid echonormally islinear, so it will be also removed, be onlyawared thatin NEC casean echo tail could be much longer so a far end hybrid echo replica may not becancelled.

Best regards,
