I have followed the instructions in <A href="http://support.intel.com/support/performancetools/libraries/ipp/mac/sb/CS-026476.htm" target="_blank">http://support.intel.com/support/performancetools/libraries/ipp/mac/sb/CS-026476.htm</A> for static linking with the IPPs libraries, but there it is not mentioned if 'ippStaticInit()' or 'ippStaticInitCPU()' has to be called for optimization of the IPPs functions in MAC OS.
