topic G.729 codec question in Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives

I am looking into either implementing or purchasing a G.729 codec. I am hoping to find a sample C open source implementation that I can size to get an idea of how much memory and other compute resources it would require. We are trading off implementing this in an FPGA or implementing it in software. This is for an embedded application. Thanks ahead.

You are welcome! Please visit IPP main page, look for IPP samples, download IPP audio-video-codecs sample, it contains C implementation of many different speech codecs as well as other audio/video codecs.

Regards,
Vladimir
