    <description>&lt;P&gt;I am using ippmEigenValuesVectorsSym_m_32f in order to calculate Evals and Evecs of matrix B&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;matrix B is the result of A*A' and it is symetric ..&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;now the problem:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When comparing to MATLAB results:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Matrix B is equale in both programs (matlab and c code)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;the eigen vectors are NOT equale, how come ???&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;also tried to use &lt;IMG src="file:/C:/DOCUME~1/B779~1/LOCALS~1/Temp/moz-screenshot.jpg" alt="" /&gt;ippmEigenValuesVectors_m_32f .. but no good.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;and one more thing:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;does ipp provides a solution for the general eigen problem ?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;meaning :&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;input : matrix A, matrix B&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;A*V = B*V*D&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;output:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;eigen vecs V&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;eigen vals D (diagonal matrix)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
