Simple Player decoding problem

Hi All,

I am recording Mpeg-4 streaming video
through wireless, so naturally there will be packet losses. When I try
to decode this recodered stream using simple player the player
decodes till the point where there is no packet loss i.e., it stops
or exits decoding if it finds any macroblock or slice is missing. So my
question is does Intel's IPP mpeg-4 video decoder support any error
recovering algorthims ?

I am not sure whether
mpeg4videodecoder is exiting because of this reason (i am guessing).
When i saw the videos decoded by some other decoder (XVID) i could
make out some blocks missing in frames (black patch) and
Mpeg4videodecoder was stopping one frame before this error frame.

For example: I have attached a mpeg-4 video file with 5 frames in it. I am able to decode it in XVID (an opensource code), but not in simple_player because 2nd frame has some macroblocks missing.

Any suggestions will be helpful.

Thanks
sham
