Hi Nikolay!

I receive my stream(MPEG-4 simple profile) from a camera(not from MPEG-4 encoder). What I know, I can decode it with IPP MPEG-4 decoder. Is this mean that I can use XVID, DIVX, etc. FOURCC in my AVI?

Hi!

Do anybody know what is the fourcc code for the mpeg4 compression which can be decoded with the UMC mpeg4 decoder? I would like to put mpeg4 stream to an avi file(and play it with Windows Media Player without installing any codecs). Or do anybody know a filetype which can store variable framerate mpeg4 stream and can be played both on windows(XP SP2) and linux without insalling any codec(mp4 and mov not supported by WMP).
Thanks in advance,
