Intel Pentium 3...LOL

My friend has this old system and I don't know what socket the CPU is I know its a Pentium 2 or 3 celeron at either 333 or 555 Mhz (I'm not sure because the box says 555Mhz but the post screen says 333Mhz) I haven't gotten past the password on the admin (old computer, forgotten password). This thing is a piece of junk but I told my friend I'd research upgrade options. Any advice is appreciated.
