topic Crash with OpenCV in Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives

I have been working on a real-time computer vision project that uses OpenCV V1.0. I was interested in the IPP for possibly speeding up the existing algorithms. However, after I installed IPP 5.2 and ran without recompiling any code, the program would crash in cvGoodFeaturesToTrack().

I know with some effort I could debug this, but I'd appreciate any help that would bypass that.

Is it ok to use 5.2 with OpenCV 1.0, or do I need to be looking for IPP 5.1?

All I did was add the IPP dlls to the path. Is there something else that I should do?

Are there known issues for doing what I'm attempting to do?

Thanks,

Tim

Hello Tim,

is it possible to provide us with test case to let us investigate the issue? Note, you can contactthrough Intel Premier Support if it is more convenient for you. Please also specify details about your platform (processor, OS).

Of course you may try the same test with IPP 5.1 binaries if you have them.

Regards,
Vladimir
