Hello,

well, we provide two version of IPP for Xscale based devices:

1. IPP for PCA, which indended to be run on PCA27x processors and utilizes their WMMX instruction set in optimized code.

2. IPP for IXP, which indended to be run on PCA25x and IXP42x processors.

Both versions available for Windows CE and for Montavista Linux. I recommend you to take a look on IPP samples which can be good start point for you development. There are big set of samples in different areas (image, video, audio and speech codecs, signal and image processing, computer vision and so on). Basically, you need to have MS eVC v4.0 to build that samples.

Hi all,

I am a newbie in the development of SW for PDA's (and in a lot of otherareas...), but I would like to adapt an old code implemented with IPL to be run on a PDA, and.... I've got a bunch of doubts....

-What is the proper version of IPP for WindowsCE?

-Can I use a PDA emulator to test my app before running it on the real device?

-Is there any limitationwhen running IPP on a PDA?

-Could anybodysuggest me how to start? :S

Thanks a lot

Any piece of help will be welcome!

I'm moving this posting over to the "Intel Integrated Performance Primatives" forum. I think you'll get more feedback there.
