topic Custom mpeg4 encoder in Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives

Hi,
since I've not familiarity with IPP, I want to ask something.
For my thesis work I've developed:

1)
a segmentation routine which can extracts and labels from each frame
multiple arbitrary-shape video objects.

2)
custom motion estimation and compensation routines.

Now, exploiting the results above I need to build an mpeg4 video encoder/decoder in a reasonable time.
About your skills in IPP, do you think I can use the IPP package for that?

In other words, can I use IPP (changing the source code if necessary) to encode multiple VOP
and use my custom motion compensation routine?

Thanks in advance!
Nice day!

Hi,

we do not support these features in our current implementation of MPEG4 encoder. If you feel it is important - please submit your feature request on premier.intel.com

Regards,
