Need Info on H.264 Video Codec

Hi All,

I am new to Intel IPP, my task is to compress the live data captured from Web Camera into H.264 format.

I get the data from Web camera in RGB format i have a function to convert RGB data into YUV format. I will get a pointer to YUV data out.

Now, my concern is how to fit this YUV data into Intel H.264 Encoder, as in Intel Sample codeuses UMCReadYUV to read YUV data from file.

Has anybody tried to Compress the Live data ? A sample code or an idea would be helpful.
