    <description>Hi.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Will  Media Samples(simple_player) ever  support  IPP PCA with wireless MMX?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Will be there any  gain in performance if I'll start to use IPP with MMX instead IPP for IPX on PXA270 when playing Mpeg2?</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Sergey,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately, we do not provide UMC media sample on PCA270 platforms. And there is some difference in IPP API between IPP for IXP and IPP for PCA, so direct porting is not possible. Using of WMMX instructions surely will increase performance of processing. This is obvious and similar to IA32 platform.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;We do not have support for MPEG2 in IPP for PCA270, so I can't say how much will be performance increase. I canonly guess, taking into account MMX advantage on IA32 that itcan be approximately 2X faster.&lt;/P&gt;
