Why is h.261 not supported? Any recommendations on what to do if h.261 is needed?

Hi,

You know, it is impossible to support all the things in world:) So, one of the reasons we consider when we plan new functionality in libraries is how interesting this functionality will be, I mean, how popular it is, how much customers we can expect and so on.

However, because IPP is like set of building blocks, you can useit to implement everything you want. For example, I think you can get performance gain from using IPP DCT8x8 functions, motion compensation functions and so on.

And of course you can submit your suggestion as feature request.

Regards,
Vladimir
