Hi all,

I have tried to run the sample code program sample_player for the ipp by using the following option:

./sample_player -l scene.mp4 (from the command line)

where scene.mp4 contains a mpeg4 encoded video. However I get the error that the file cannot be openend. Can some-one please help me on how to go about running the mpeg4 video file using sample_player.

Thanks...

Hi Vladimir,

when you say stream_name, you mean the input mp4 file is n't. That is what I

have tried. Please tell me if you have any other suggestions.

thanks...

Hi,

it might be some corrupted stream or some unsupported format/features. What message did you get from simple_player? Could you please share with us this stream?

BTW, what platform you are using?

Regards,
Vladimir

Hi Vladimir,

I have fedora core 4, I can run the input file now, but it does not play fully only plays for3-4 second. If I play the same video on windows, it plays till the end. Please let me know if there are any issues.

you can download the video from the following site:

http://www.comelec.enst.fr/~dufourd/mpeg-4/Bifs_Primer/mp4tool/m4v/

with the name scene.mp4

Kind regards

Zieb Rana
