Hi,

Thanks for the important question. Currently we do have OpenMP threading only in baseline JPEG decoder. We have plan to provide parallel version of baseline encoder as well, but this will not be implemented in the nearest version, IPP v5.0 which is coming soon.

Please submit your feature request to Intel Premier Support, so we can track status of this and will inform you when parallel version of encoder will be available.

Regards,
Vladimir

HELP! I've been trying to use the OpenMP directives to speed up the EncodeScanBaseline function. Has anyone on the Intel IPP team written a parallel version of this function? I am using the Inte C++ 9.0 compiler.
