We do support Intel Pentium III processors in IPP. If your application do load ippxxa6.so library it means that IPP dispatcher detects your P3 cpu and selects optimized code for it. Could you be more specific in details what IPP functions do you use, which thefunction cause the error and so on.

Hi,

I am using IPP 4.0 for Linux.

A VoIPapplication binary I have built works fine on this computer:

"CPU: Intel Mobile Intel Pentium 4 - M CPU 2.00GHz stepping 07", OS:

"Linux THINKVOIP 2.4.18-14 #1 Wed Sep 4 13:35:50 EDT 2002 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux"

and dies with "Floating point exception" inIPP basedcode on

"CPU: Intel Pentium III (Coppermine) stepping 01", OS

"Linux DELLVOIP 2.4.20-28.9 #1 Thu Dec 18 13:45:22 EST 2003 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux"

ArePentiums III supported? You saying on download page that all Pentiums are supported. Why it dies on Pentium?

Yuri, thanks for additional info. We do not face such a problems before. Anyway, I'm glad that you solved it.

How you find our sample? Is it useful for your purposes?Does functionality/performance/quality fits your needs?

Regards,
Vladimir
