Hi there,

i use the resize function for decreasing image sizes. The appendix of the ipp tells me all about the different interpolations and how they work. every interpolation works with a calculated pixel and the pixels around. But i would like to know, how the ipp calculates these "start" pixel.
cause i have tested the ipp with different test-images and my results shew me, that the ipp works with mathematical methods, which are suitable for mathematical-functions, but which are not suitable for image-functions. but maybe i m wrong.
so if somebody can tell me more about this calculations, then it would be a great help for me.

thanks
