The Intel IPP was developed to be usable on the 100% Intel-compatible processors. Only the one detail. Because the optimized code uses the knowledge of micro-architecture of particular Intel processors we can't guarantee the performance benefits when the IPP is running on non-Intel processors.

I'm considering using Intel IPP in a software product. Does anyone know what will happen if one of my customers tries to run it on a machine that has a non-Intel processor, like an AMD processor?
