Documentation Row Major Order image format

Hello,

I'm looking for a pointer to the documentation that specify the image format required by IPP functions.

I'm currently using the library so there is no trouble to use it, I understand that it is row major order , pixel order or planar order. But I would like a reference to share with third parties and to convince them to use this format.
