    <description>Hi,&lt;DIV&gt;In the 6.1 release notes, it is mentioned that there are&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;"Advanced lighting functions including spherical harmonic and Perlin noise generation&lt;DIV id="_mcePaste"&gt;functions"&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Now, I've got6.1.2.041, and for the life of me, I can't find any reference to Perlin noise generation in any other documentation other than the release note.       <description>Hi Matthew,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm sorry, it was an mistake in IPP 6.1 release notes. Perlin noise functionality is not available in IPP, only spherical harmonics functions (you may find them in ippR library)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt; Vladimir</description>
