    <description>&lt;P&gt;HI ALL,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am using Butterworth filter.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It has -3dB at cut-off.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I need a low pass filter where attenuation at cut-off frequency can be specified.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I didn't found it in IPP.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Maybe I am missing something or maybe I need to use another library?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Butterworth filter having a fixed attenuation of -3 dB at the cut-off frequency is based on the design characteristics of Butterworth filters.&amp;nbsp;This is a fixed characteristic and cannot be changed without altering the fundamental nature of the Butterworth filter.&lt;/P&gt;
