topic Edge Stretch in Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives

Hello,

I want to perform an aspect ratio "edge stretch" on a
video sequence (sequence of pictures) when displaying 4:3 video
on 16:9 display.

Rather than just having black bands either side
of the 4:3 video I want to do a non linear horizontal stretch out to the
full 16:9 picture. So a circle in the centre of the image stays a
circle but towards the edges would get stretched.

A number of TVs have this feature to fill out the black either side of a 4:3 picture.

Does IPP have primitives for this? My input source are 8 bit YUYV fields.

Thanks,

Bob

Bob,

No such primitive now. Image Resize function can change it linearly. But if you want non linear change, no such a function call so far.

Thanks,
Chao
