topic MPEG4 encoding -- B-frames in Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives

Hi there,

I am using the MPEG4 encoder using the BVOP distance as 1. The encoder first.

1.Encodes an IVOP

2. It encoded the 2nd frame as a B-VOP and returns MP4_STS_BUFFERED

After that it encoded an IVOP and continues with the sequence PB P B until the next I-VOP occurs.

The question is :

Is the buffered B-VOP lost ?

In the UMC::GetFrame function the data size of the output MediaData is set to zero for the above buffered B-VOP.

Thanks ,

Ram
