Hi Kamil,

there was a number of chnages and improvements in MPEG4 codec in IPP 5.2 beta. Could you please try the latest version of IPP media sample?

Regards,
Vladimir

Hi,
I'm trying to decode a sample MPEG-4 stream from my network camera using simple_player.exe. Unfortunately there are some visible distortions around on-image text / I've attached a sample avi file / Is it something wrong with MPEG stream or with IPP decoder ? VLC player manages to decode this stream without any distortions / it uses xvid or ffmpeg decoder, I'm not sure /. I don't know what should I do now. Could you take a look on this sample file ?

IPP5.1 on Windows XP/Intel Pentium4 platform.

Thanks in advance,
Kamil

Thank you Nikolay !

I would never guess. I have to parse VOL to change this stupid bit, but now it works without any change in the decoder.
