topic Intel IPP pre-sales questions about MPEG encoding/decoding in Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives

I am software engineer, I would like to test Intel IPP library for MPEG encoding/decoding before buying the license.

I have problems when using these examples:

I have downloaded the IPP library for vista 32 ultimate , w_ipp_ia32_p_5.3.3.082 and installed it. Then I open the image processing functions folder and launch ippiDemo in visual studio. When I build it, I receive a list of errors because files 'ippcore.h' and 'ipps.h'doesn't exist. I thought that these files will be created during the installation of IPP.

I also haven't found anything in this file related to MPEG encoding and decoding.

Could you please tell me where I can find these tools and how can I use them.

Do you have any SDKs for MPEG encoding/decoding?

Hello,

Are you talking about IPP samples? Did you follow build steps described in readme.htm file which comes with every IPP sample?

Please download IPP sample package, it contain audio-video-codec sample where we provide IPP implementation of may media codecs, including MPEG.

Regards,
Vladimir
