Hello,

The building script will automatically detect GCC and G++ at /usr/bin. Could you please let us know?

1> which sample code you were building

2> what is the output for the following command line?

>which gcc
/usr/bin/gcc

>which g++
/usr/bin/g++

Thanks,
Chao

Hi,

I have recently installed Ubuntu 9.04 and tried running ipp-samples on it, however when I am doing ./build32.sh it outputs :

ERROR: Compiler is installed non by default setting. Please reinstall.

I have looked this up and found that it is something to do with the tools.sh file not recognising the compiler. The compiler that came with Ubuntu is gcc 4.3.3, anyone can kindly help me fix the tools.sh, I have very little knowledge of the shell script language.

Thanks
