topic how to load image from file in Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives

Hi, i was looking for a generic function like Intel OpenCV's LoadImage but couldnt be able to find. How do we read images from file in IPP. And between, is there a generic image structure like OpenCV's IplImage?

Regards.

Hello,

as IPP is library of low-level primitives it does not contain any IPP specific image structure you should adopt to. Instead, due to low level API, IPP functions can be adopted to any application specific image structure.

We also provide a number of high level samples which demostrate this. Take a look for example at IPP Unified Image Codec (UIC) sample. The UIC sample contain a couple applications which are able to load images of several supported formats (BMP, PNM, PNG, JPEG, JPEG2000 and DICOM).

Regards,
Vladimir
