Intel MAS CLI - Windows PE compatibility

Hi guys,

since Intel cancelled the good old ISDCT tool which worked just fine under Windows PE, MAS doesn't unfortunately.

Are there any workarounds for this issue yet? (we use PE to update drive firmwares with isdct at the moment, but as firmwares progress this isn't useful anymore...)

We received your thread regarding the use of Intel DCT and Intel MAS in Windows PE, I will be glad to assist you.

The tools are intended to be used post OS installation, I understand that you were able to use Intel DCT this way, and by checking the Intel MAS user guide I cannot find any indications of this being a possibility (taking also into consideration that you personally tested it).

Another option to perform the firmware update would be the Intel FUT, which requires the use of a USB device to boot and perform the firmware update.
