I suspect that the profiling facilities have changed enough that old profiler doesn't plug into new Amplifier, but I haven't had opportunity to become familiar with new versions. I run into a problem attempting to install the Thread Profiler 3.1. The error message is, Please install VTune Performance Analyzer 8.0 or above on your system before installing Intel Thread Profiler 3.1. the installer then quits.
