topic Specifying alternate ports using Remote Data collector in Intel® Moderncode for Parallel Architectures

Hello,

I'm trying to use an alternate port under remote data collector and Thread Profiler.

The command on ittserver is:
ittserver -p <NUMBER></NUMBER>

ittserver starts up fine and tells me it is using the alternate port, however do I need to do something on the Windows host side? Itriedjust by specifying the IP without port and it did not seem to work - the host could not connect.
I tryadding the port by appending :<NUMBER> to the end of the ip, so for me:
10.23.29.176:50004 andVTunedoesn't like the syntax.</NUMBER>

I am using Fedora Core 5and at least on my system, the default port, 50002 is in use by something else.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Max
