The error I get is on the "Paint" method of a grid control. The thread where the error occurs is started via .NET remoting (singlton object). The interesting thing however is that I ONLY get the error on the CoreDuo machine if multi processing is enabled in the Bios. If I disable multiprocessing or use a non-dual processor machine I don't get the error.
