      <description>&lt;P&gt;It was said verbally that Intel would launch the "code modernization" project today.&amp;nbsp; Maybe this is the reason for the retitling of this forum (which has not been moderated for years).&amp;nbsp; Of course, "code modernization" means taking advantage of the multiple levels of parallelism supported on Intel platforms, not always what those words might appear to mean.&amp;nbsp; Initial instructional material (excellent) centers on current Intel(r) Xeon Phi(tm) Knight's Corner, although one would think by the title this isn't just another MIC forum.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
