Hi,

We are using FFMPEG software to trans-code our videos. A few months ago, we found that FFMPEG supports hardware acceleration with H.264 encoding. So, we have installed necessary softwares with reference to

Intel® Quick Sync Video and FFMPEG Installation and Validation

The FFMPEG software works with our personal laptop. But we are unable to install the same in our VM server. The hardware details are as follows

     Personal Laptop Configuration :

Machine : Dell latitude E7440

OS and Intel Core : CentOS Linux release 7.2.1511 (Core)

Controller : Hashwell-IGC ( 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Haswell-ULT Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 0b))

     VM Server :

Machine : Intel® Xeon® Processor E5 Product Family

OS and Intel Core : CentOS 7.1.1503(core)

Controller : Cirrus Logic-GD (00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Cirrus Logic GD 5446)

Is Cirrus Logic-GD controller will support QSV process ? Could share the complete 'System Requirements' to use QSV. Please assist us to overcome this issue.
