Hello,

I am experiencing an installation failure with the Intel oneAPI Base Toolkit. During installation, most components repeatedly show the message "rollback is finished with status Success," and the entire installation process ultimately fails with a rollback.

Steps already taken:

Reinstalled Visual Studio

Ran installer as Administrator

Completely uninstalled previous Intel/oneAPI installations

Cleaned installation folders and user TEMP directories

Environment details:

Windows version: (Windows 10 version 21H2)

Visual Studio version: (Visual Studio 2022 professional 17.14.2)

oneAPI Base Toolkit version: (2024.2.1.101 offline installer)

Installation path: (C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\oneAPI)

Company security software is exist

Network environment: (corporate internal network)

Observed issue:

Installation continuously rolls back for most modules and cannot complete successfully

Installation was successful before company security software was installed; repeated failures started afterward

Attached install log of the rollback messages are included

Attachments:

Installation log files

I strongly suspect that the issue is caused by the company’s security software, but clear evidence is needed to request an exception for it. Is it possible to determine this from the attached logs?

Please advise if additional information or logs are needed for diagnosing the issue.
Thank you for your assistance!

The word "Softwar" in the title is misspelled; it should be "Software."
