I am currently starting a research work in a team that has developed a code in Fortran 90 that uses as a solver Pardiso. Is this solver included in one of the toolkits available from Intel® oneAPI Toolkits - Free for All Developers (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/news/free-intel-software-developer-tools.html) and can you please indicate which is the one that can be downloaded.
Additionally, in case of an affirmative answer, are there any issues with compiling a user developed Fortran code if a free Intel® oneAPI Toolkit is installed and can you be specific with detailing these problems.

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for posting in Intel Communities.

Yes, in order to use the Intel Math Kernal(Pardiso solver), we need to install the Intel Base Toolkit. And also, Intel Fortran is included in Intel HPC Toolkit.

So, you need to install first the Intel Base Toolkit and then install the Intel HPC Toolkit.

>>user developed Fortran code if a free Intel® oneAPI Toolkit is installed and can you be specific with detailing these problems.

Yes, you can run user-developed fortran code if you install both the mentioned toolkits. You will find the examples in the MKL directory(path changes with Operating System).

Additionally, there is Intel Devcloud where you can create an account and run the codes(already toolkits will be installed). Please find the getting started link:

https://devcloud.intel.com/oneapi/get_started/

There is oneMKL link line advisor where you will get the compiler options for your code link, please find the below link:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/tools/oneapi/onemkl-link-line-advisor.html#gs.os775z

Thanks & Regards,

Varsha
