I don't know if any tests have been done at this time. We were assuming that running "smpd -install" was sufficient in getting things working (as it has proven to be on other Windows based OSs). Once we ran the Intel MPI Runtime installer it works fine. We have confirmed that it works that way on a fresh Windows 8 VM image too.
