we pay attention to BLAST Forum specifications, but we don't automatically follow all of these. Generally, we decide on a new MKL functionality after we make sure this functionality is value-add forthe customers. Currently, we don't have plans to include any of the routines you mentioned, but we may reconsider it in case of necessity.

Michael,
MKL Engineer.

I've been taking a pass through the BLAST report from August of '01 (http://www.netlib.org/blas/blast-forum/) and have noticed that many of the comparatively newer level 1 and level 2 BLAS routines seem to be missing from MKL. At least from a pass through the manual and some header grepping I could not find axpby or the _acc/_add routines. Are there plans to adhere to the BLAST report at some time in the future?

Thanks,
Rhys
