I am having trouble linking one of the sparse linear solver examples that comes with version 7. The name of the example is pardiso_unsym.f.

I get the following messages:

------ Build started: Project: pardis, Configuration: Debug|Win32 ------

Linking...

Link /OUT:"Debug/pardis.exe" /INCREMENTAL:NO /NOLOGO /DEBUG /PDB:"Debug/pardis.pdb" /SUBSYSTEM:CONSOLE mkl_solver.lib mkl_c.lib kernel32.lib Debug/pardiso_unsym.obj

Link: executing 'link'

mkl_solver.lib(my_clock.obj) : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol _DSECND referenced in function _TIMER_PARDISO

Debug/pardis.exe : fatal error LNK1120: 1 unresolved externals

pardis build failed.

The strange thing is that if I try and issue the same compile and link commands from the command prompt, the program compiles and links without any problems.

I would appreciate if someone could let me know what I am doing wrong when using microsoft visual net.

Thanks.
